Texas City Fire Department: Computer
router cut Precision Board (High Density Urethane), painted with
blue enamel. Raised areas are machine cut mirror gold plexiglas.
Jamaica Beach: Custom hand
tooled clear heart redwood double faced sign, mounted to two
12"x12"x25' treated pine posts. The graphics were hand
blended with acrylics. Lettering was hand tooled with chisels
and Dremel tools. The riders are sandblasted redwood. The entire
structure is mounted to a welded steel frame, attached to the
12"x12" posts.
Sagemeadow: Sandblasted clear heart
redwood sign, size 36"x120", with acrylic blended
pictorial. This project was a restoration of three identical
signs, made by my friend, Ray Skains.
Village Green: A single sided
sandblasted clear-heart redwood sign, mounted between two
existing brick pillars with welded clips.
Bay Forest: Sandblasted
clear heart redwood sign, with hand painted pictorial. Mounted
to horizontal beams between the existing brick pillars.
Sagemont Park: This is a
Urethane Stucco sign monument, with machine carved dimensional
lettering. All lettering and green trim was painted with acrylic
enamel. The green aluminum sign is glued to the sign and the
lower aluminum sign is a removable rider that is interchangeable
- with several wordings to inform the resident about upcoming
events.
Sageglen: A single sided
sandblasted redwood sign, with hand tooled trees, highlighted
with various shades of acrylic enamels. Raised clear heart
redwood letters, with M.D.O. shadow bases. Background of the
sign is streak blended with acrylic enamels. Custom poles conceal
the chassis attachment, and decorative pole tops complete the
look.
Morningside on the Park: A set
of two identical stucco monuments, size 15' tall by 8' wide.
Each monument has internal welded steel framework, with steel
lath. Three coats of stucco applied to all surfaces and eight
sandblasted signs were attached to each monument with concealed
bolts. The logo signs are 3'x10' and the name signs are 4'x8'.
Seascape: A double faced clear
heart redwood sandblasted sign, mounted to treated pine posts.
Edges wrapped with aluminum and painted with oil based white
enamel. Lattice attached to the poles and secured with perimeter
1"x2" treated pine material. Raised lettering is hand
shaped high density urethane, painted with white acrylic
enamels. |
